CLI commands
supercharge with no arguments opens the terminal UI in the current directory.

-p, --single <PROMPT> | One prompt, then exit. Also started by --prompt-json or --prompt-file. |
-m, --model <MODEL> | Model id for this run. |
-c, --continue | Continue the newest session in this directory. |
-r, --resume <ID_OR_TITLE> | Resume by session id, or by title in this directory. Prefer the id in scripts. |
-s, --session-id <UUID> | Create a new session with this UUID. It does not resume. Errors if the id is already used. |
--fork-session | With -r or -c, copy history into a new session id. |
--cwd <PATH> | Working directory. |
--yolo | Approve every tool call. Same idea as /always-approve. |
--permission-mode <MODE> | bypassPermissions is always-approve. |
--allow <RULE> | Repeatable allow rule. Works in the TUI and headless. |
--deny <RULE> | Repeatable deny rule. |
--rules <TEXT> | Extra text appended to the built-in system prompt. |
--system-prompt-override <TEXT> | Replace the built-in system prompt. Alias --system-prompt. An empty value is ignored. |
--effort, --reasoning-effort <LEVEL> | none, minimal, low, medium, high, xhigh, max, or a level that model advertises. |
--output-format <FMT> | Headless: plain, json, streaming-json, streaming-messages-json. |
--include-partial-messages | Raw stream deltas. Only with streaming-messages-json. |
--tools <LIST> | Headless allowlist of built-in tool ids, comma-separated. |
--disallowed-tools <LIST> | Headless denylist. Agent blocks all subagents. Agent(explore) blocks one type. |
--max-turns <N> | Headless stop after this many turns. |
--prompt-file <PATH> | Prompt text from a file. |
--prompt-json <JSON> | Prompt as JSON content blocks. |
--verbatim | Send the prompt exactly as given. |
--minimal / --fullscreen | Session screen mode. Does not rewrite config.toml. |
--no-auto-update | Skip the update check for this process. |
--sandbox <PROFILE> | Local filesystem and network isolation profile for tool runs. This is the CLI sandbox, not a remote VM. |
--remote <URL> | Attach to an ACP WebSocket, for example ws://127.0.0.1:2419/ws. |
--secret <TOKEN> | Secret for that remote server. |
--tools, --disallowed-tools, and --max-turns are ignored in the interactive UI, with a warning. The shell tool id is run_terminal_cmd.

supercharge login | Start a sign-in flow when you use optional session auth. Provider keys still go through /setup. |
supercharge logout | Clear cached session credentials. |
supercharge update | Update the installed binary. |
supercharge agent … | Long-running agent. See ACP and daemon. |
supercharge usage <session-id> [turn] | Print stored token totals for a local session. |
supercharge clone <url> [dir] is off unless Grove clone is enabled (SUPERCHARGE_CLONE=1, SUPERCHARGE_GROVE=1, or the matching config). The default checkout is depth 1. --full-history clones everything.
