Sessions
Save, resume, rewind, compact, and export conversations
Sessions
Every conversation is a session under ~/.supercharge/sessions/. It keeps prompts, replies, tool calls, edits, and task state.
Start and resume
supercharge
supercharge -c
supercharge -r <session-id>
supercharge -r "session title"Inside the UI: /new, /resume, Ctrl+N, or /home to return to the welcome list. On that list, d then y deletes a session you are not inside. /delete deletes the current one after you confirm.
-s / --session-id creates a new session with a UUID you choose. It does not open an old one.
--fork-session with -c or -r copies history into a new id instead of appending.
Names
/rename migration notes
/rename --auto/rename --auto only clears a manual pin so auto-titling can run again on Build sessions. Chat conversations do not auto-title.
Compact and rewind
/compact
/compact keep the auth implementation
/rewindAuto-compact runs when the context window reaches about 85%. Change that with [session] auto_compact_threshold_percent. /context shows system prompt, messages, reasoning, free space, and estimates for tools, skills, and MCP.
/fork branches from the current point without deleting the original.
Copy and export
/copy
/copy 2
/copy out.md
/export/session-info shows auth method, model, turn count, and context. From a shell, stored token totals:
supercharge usage <session-id> [turn]Dashboard
/dashboard (also /sessions) lists top-level sessions in this pager so you can peek, reply, pin, rename, stop, or attach. Ctrl+\ opens it from the keys that the guide binds to the dashboard. It is not /agents, which edits agent definitions.
Disable it with SUPERCHARGE_AGENT_DASHBOARD=0 or:
[dashboard]
enabled = falseMinimal mode does not show the dashboard.
